Wow! Just amazing! I cannot say enough incredible things about my experience with Breathe Bhutan. From the initial inquiries with owner Kinley - who was incredibly responsive and created a bespoke itinerary which included everything I had requested, to my driver Wangdi and guide Sonam who greeted me at the airport with such kindness and good humour, the whole process of getting to Bhutan was made smooth and swift by Breathe Bhutan. My guide Sonam is incredibly knowledgeable on his country’s history, architecture, religion and topography and is also superb company. I felt blessed that he was my guide as it is clear that he is very skilled and has a great love for what he does and for the places he shows. Sonam really enhanced my whole Bhutan experience. My driver Wangdi is warm hearted and great company. He drives very safely and with great care, popping up with a snack or a drink bottle at the most opportune times! He accompanied me on the Tiger’s Nest hike and was kind enough to help ease my way by carrying my backpack. Kinley and his wife invited me to their home for a BBQ with their wonderful staff. It was a fantastic night to get to know some locals and have a taste of their culture. Kinley’s wife also kindly made my teddy bear travel companions traditional Bhutanese outfits, and this generous touch made my trip even better. Breathe Bhutan’s commitment to a tailor-made experience really shone with this gesture. Choose Breathe Bhutan – they will ensure you leave Bhutan with the best memories!

Bhutan is open and Breath Bhutan knows how to get you there! The first week of August I managed to travel to Bhutan with the help of Breathe Bhutan, a woman-owned business. The country has started accepting tourists ahead of the Sept 23rd official open date, but most people don't realize it yet; I was not able to travel in September, so the owner called around and found out how she could get me the travel permit early under the new regulations. In fact, when I arrived, they told me I was one of the first tourists to visit since the shutdown over two years ago. Thanks to Breathe Bhutan I had a seamless, wonderful experience. They were professional, kind, welcoming, knowledgeable and fun. On very short notice, they figured out how to get my travel authorization and arranged a tour for me based on my interests and time frame, which was sadly too short. They worked hard to get my PCR test results back before the 24 hrs was up so that I could start my tour and see as much as possible. My guide Sonam was great! Always available, he kept me informed of everything, and answered all of my questions. Visiting the sites with him was phenomenal, he knew so much about the history of the temples and monasteries and the country. And he was always feeding me! So much good food in Bhutan. On the hike to the Tiger's Nest he was patient with my slow pace and even helped me carry my camera to make it easier for me. He really went above and beyond in everything. I was having trouble with a picture for an e-visa for my next destination and he brought me to a local photo studio with a white backdrop so that I could get the correct standards I needed. I just can't say enough about the service everyone from Breathe Bhutan provided. In Thimphu one of the owners of the company came to meet me and joined us for dinner and then invited me to a bar/club/venue for live music. Everyone was so attentive and made me feel welcomed like family. Right now is a great time to visit Bhutan while there are no tourists yet and Breathe Bhutan knows how to navigate the new travel protocols. They can help you with whatever you need, just reach out!

I visited Bhutan with the intent to explore a country’s spirituality and to see how they incorporate spirituality into their way of living. Bhutan is breathtaking and I am so glad I experienced it through Breathe Bhutan. Accomodation and food choices suited me really well. I travelled alone to Bhutan and not once did I feel lost or confused. My guide Sonam and driver Kanzung made the trip a magical experience. Sonam is extremely knowledgeable, shared with me not only the history and stories of Bhutan and it’s religion, but his wisdom in life. He was very caring and took note of every detail to ensure I was able to experience all of Bhutan in the best way. I was lucky enough to have met some of Breathe Bhutan’s other guides and their guests along the trip. I even had a chance to have dinner with the other guests, all of whom shared amazing stories with similar sentiment. You can tell the business knows how to treat their staff as they talk about each other with affection. They’re all so passionate about sharing their country with us. It’s the most beautiful thing to be apart of. Thank you to Breathe Bhutan for maintaining Bhutan’s beauty and sharing it with us. Definitely memories I will always come back to when I’m searching for beauty and love.

My long awaited trip to Bhutan was planned for early April 2020, but I had to cancel last minute due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Even though I can't speak to the actual experience, I am leaving a very positive review for how Breathe Bhutan handled the trip planning and cancellation process. From the very beginning, Kinley and the Breathe Bhutan team were very professional and responsive (under 24 hours many times) to my inquires. They presented several packages around the experience I was looking for as well as the budget I had, and they were patient with me in deciding the package that best suited my needs. When I unfortunately had to cancel last minute due to the pandemic, they were transparent about the process, honored the cancellation agreement we had put into place just in case the pandemic disrupted travel, and they worked with me to get back almost all the payment I wired. I highly recommend Breathe Bhutan to everyone and I will definitely use their service again for future travel to Bhutan.

I went to Bhutan with a friend through Breathe Bhutan in January this year. Such an amazing country and the team at Breathe Bhutan are soooo accommodating and amazing with all of our changes to our itineraries. I would 100% recommend them! Such a beautiful country, but the people we met were even more amazing. Thank you Breathe Bhutan! Can't wait to come back again one day.

Experiencing Bhutan from the inside out. Robyn and Gawaine, Sydney Australia We chose Breathe Bhutan because they are a local Bhutanese Company. We are so pleased we did. They gave us a special gift: we felt like a little travelling family with our guide Phub and driver Kado. With them we experienced Bhutan from the inside: Phub and Kado became our friends. We looked forward to meeting up with them each morning, ready for a day of exploring together. They flawlessly took care of the day-to-day organisation while still managing to be themselves. Phub gave us our feet to walk through the valleys and forests and take in the landscape, he gave us our eyes to see how Buddhism is practised everyday in a Buddhist country, and he introduced us to local Bhutanese people, including his family and friends. This personal connection meant that we felt welcome guests as we learnt about Bhutan, rather than visitors who were simply sight-seeing. Phub is a talented photographer: we have come home with a beautiful collection of photos of us taken together. Kado is like a tranquil lake. He is the most steady and safe driver. They both said they that the days flowed as we travelled together: They were right. Both of them are highly professional, kind, and knowledgeable and gave us all the space we needed to absorb Bhutan and make our own discoveries, while learning from theirs. As an organisation Breathe Bhutan is a breeze to deal with. They are consistently reliable. Jigme and Kinley were prompt and paid careful attention to all the necessary details in preparing our holiday. The itinerary they suggested was tailored to our interests and the accommodation along the way was above our expectations. When you travel to Bhutan go with them.

Did a tour with this company in February 2020, which was an amazing experience. From a friendly welcome and a hospitable overall journey that took 6 days I felt like I made the right choice by choosing this company as my tour company in Bhutan. Especially the guide, Tshewang, made it an unforgettable experience! I would reccommend this company 100%.

We have almost finished our week visiting the incredible country of Bhutan, and will be very sad to leave tomorrow. Bhutan exceeded our expectations, and I am certain this is because of the exceptional company Breathe Bhutan. Our guide Sonam, and driver Phuentsho, were the perfect hosts throughout our stay. No request was ever too much, they both have such patience and a truly extensive knowledge of the history and culture of this wonderful country. We had such a personal experience with the company, knowing our intinerary was tailored just for us (as it is for every visitor!) We consider ourselves so lucky to have been able to visit Bhutan as there is no country quite like it, and if you decide to visit here too, make Breathe Bhutan your choice. Thank you , Sonam and Phuentsho, for an unforgettable week.

Very good coordination and response received from Kinley and Jigme right from the beginning, from the trip planning to all logistical part. Received a very warm welcome right from the airport upto the end of the entire trip. Very informative and sophisticated tour operator that was very well all rounded. Covers everything you will want to experience in a trip; be it immersing in the local culture, easy sight seeing or an adventurous hike. I really enjoyed every single day of the trip and all activities that was well planned and catered to my preferences. Everything was executed perfectly far beyond expectations, great efforts and a job well done to Breathe Bhutan. Special thanks to my guide Phuntsho , who was very informative and extremely thoughtful and pleasant to be around with. If you are thinking of travelling to Bhutan, you will definitely not regret going with Breath Bhutan. Cheers
